Fiat Panda 1.1 Fuel Consumption
That's with petrol. I would like to point out that if a Multijet diesel engine that weighed the same as a petrol engine was put in a Charade, then mpg would probably be around 80. The diesel Panda weighs 100kg more than the petrol. If they could make diesel engines lighter efficiency would rocket.
The 1.2 4x4 with load (3-4 people or heavier haul) will need full throttle and going down to third gear before the end, perhaps going from 100 to 50 km/h in the process. In my experience this engine performs better with quite high RPMs, and I wasn't affraid to go above 3000 up towards 4000 rpm when I needed the power.

The 1.2 has just passed a thousand miles so it's too early to be sure about mpg, but we guesstimated on 58 mpg for the MJ (which we knew) and a probably slightly pessimistic 48 mpg for the 1.2 petrol - so 10p a mile on fuel for the MJ and 12p for the 1.2 - doing 9000 miles a year (against the 15,000 plus that justified the MJ originally), the

In combined cycle (city and motorway), the Fiat Panda 1986 1.1 4x4 fuel consumption is 8.6 litres per 100km (11.6 km/l), city fuel economy - 10.9 l/100km, fuel consumption on highway - 7.2 l/100km. Fuel tank capacity is 43 litres or 11.36 gallons , which gives a mileage up to 500 kilometers without refueling in urban cycle and even up to 580
Typical fuel consumption of 1.1 Fire should be 5.5 - 7 l/100 km in mixed traffic. However, if you drive in city traffic only, I would thing that even 9 l can be realistic . It is hard to guess what causes the high consumption possibilities are almost countless (underinflated tires, air filter clogged, thermostat sticking open, spark plugs
I would rather just buy some Shell premium (forget its name) fuel maybe a full tank of it to help flush the system. I am pretty convinced so far that normal Shell fuel gets me more MPG than ASDA stuff does but I have not done enough experiments to be sure yet. ASDA is currently 5p a litre
Right smell of petrol from exhaust Unburnt fuel passing through the cylinders equals higher fuel consumption. Itβs more likely to be a misfire than running rich. Especially with the erratic O2 readings A compression test would eliminate or confirm two different common possibilities Down on all cylinders would be a timing issue Down on two adjacent cylinders would be head gasket A local

OK guys, done a bit more research and it seems like these are the differences: Pre Mid 2010: 1.2, 60bhp, 8 valve head, compression ratio 9.8:1; standard gear ratios Euro 4. 2010 : "Eco" version of same engine (188A4000), 60bhp Euro 4, but with longer ratio gears; 2010 : Different version of the above engine (169A4000) 69bhp, 8 valve head, Euro 5, compression ratio 11.1:1.
